How to Report Fraud
If you believe you have been the victim of fraud, take these steps immediately.
Secure Your Account
Immediately change your password and enable 2FA if not already active. Contact TradeCircle support to report the incident and request an account freeze if necessary.
Document Everything
Save all evidence of the fraud attempt, including emails, messages, screenshots, phone numbers, and any transaction details. This will be important for any investigation.
Report to Authorities
File a report with your local law enforcement and financial regulatory authority. In the UK, report to Action Fraud; in the US, to the FTC or IC3; in the EU, to your national consumer protection agency.
Contact Your Bank
If you have transferred funds to a fraudulent account, contact your bank or payment provider immediately to request a recall or chargeback where applicable.
